Cloudinary stores your chart screenshots in the cloud — upload directly from the app with one click. Free tier gives you 1GB storage.

Go to cloudinary.com → Sign up free

After signing in, you land on the Dashboard — copy your Cloud Name (top left, e.g. dxxxxxxxx)

Go to Settings → Upload (left sidebar)

Scroll to Upload presets → click Add upload preset

Set preset name to exactly: trading_journal — set Signing Mode to Unsigned → Save

Paste your Cloud Name below

Images uploaded to Cloudinary are private by default. Your cloud name is stored only in your browser.

☁️ Connect Google Drive

Your journal auto-saves to trading-journal-data.json in your Google Drive every time you make a change, and loads from Drive when you open the app.

Go to console.cloud.google.com → New Project → name it "Trading Journal"

APIs & Services → Enable APIs → enable Google Drive API

Credentials → Create → OAuth 2.0 Client ID → Web application

Add your site URL under Authorised JavaScript origins

OAuth consent screen → add your Gmail as a Test user

Copy your Client ID and paste below

Your Client ID is stored only in your browser. Never shared with anyone.
